A wild night in the hills of Speewah went off with a bang featuring - Mr Peculiar , Illusion of Self , Legohead , Ekogen , Billy the Kid , Lost Keys , Foot-E , Cykon and Deano.

The NQ Scurrycompound was well and truly christened as 400+ people turned up to listen to some of the finest and unreleased psytrance Australia has to offer! There was a stir as reports of a UFO were leaked to the local paper (Cairns Post, Tues 9th August) by eye witnesses (see below) a couple of days later.

Has been in the scene for well over 6 years now and started his DJ carrer nearly 5 years agoand started producing around not long after...A long time musician James Stevens started his musical passions at the age 12. Strongly inspirred by bands (more to the point Guitarist) Like Pink Floyd and later in life Rage against the machine, Then by Trance outfits like Infected Mushrooms, and GMS, (Back in the earlier days). These days though he is careful not to be influenced by another artist, Really digs Hefty Output. and Lego head...Being good mates and all(does not influence his decision..hehe).....James feels that the talent in Australia is cutting edge above the rest of the world, and the direction that Australia is going will one day have the whole world looking at us for inspiration...
After IOS first album release with self titled Illusion of self his long awaited 2nd album is on the horizons... From his new studio in Ringwood, Melbourne he has spent the last year working on this release... Its now ready and the album called Illusion of choice by IOS Tribedellic records will be promoting the album with its arrival within the next 2 mths...

Lost Keys - North NSW (Real Music Production)

Lost Keys has been producing for over a year now and has developed a unique style of tracks. He's played support slots alongside Sun Controlled Species, Tetrameth and Luna Orbit to name a few. His tracks are currently unreleased and this will be a treat for the mid morning punters!

Foot-E - North NSW

Foot-E has been playing a plethora of parties around the NSW North coast for years. His uplifting and stompin sets will have the ground breaking and smiles creeping.
